Getting back to nature is a fabulous way to relax after the stress of planning a wedding. But during the planning process you might have forgotten one important little thing on your to-do list: updating your passport. If you're dead-set on hiking, climbing, biking or doing anything outdoorsy but are limited to the U.S., don't feel like you've missed out! There are plenty of adventurous getaways for outdoorsy couples within the 50 states. Here are the top domestic honeymoon destinations that are worth checking out. Domestic honeymoon destinations 1.Yosemite National Park, California Where to Stay: Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite Yosemite is often regarded as the gem of the National Parks Service, and if you honeymoon there, you'll see why. With waterfalls, towering sequoias, and breathtaking mountains, you'll be in awe of this land.   Yosemite is gorgeous year round and the Tenaya Lodge defines romance! The Lodge offers upscale dining and a world-class spa. It is a perfect destination to adventure with a range of activities for couples like  nighttime hiking and nighttime snowshoe walks 2.  Boundary Waters, Minnesota During the summer, there's no need to head south for warm weather and a relaxing trip. Instead, go north to the Boundary Waters, which separate Minnesota from Canada. While there are private villas and cozy chalets for rent, more serious outdoorsmen can paddle out in a canoe—no motor boats allowed—to a secluded island for a few days of quiet, private (read: romantic) camping. 3. Moab, Utah Home of two national parks—Arches and Canyonlands—Moab, Utah, is not for the faint of heart. This desert destination, which you've seen in lots of blockbuster hits including 127 Hours, is meant for experienced adventurers. Between the two parks, you'll keep busy with rock climbing, mountain biking, rafting, and catching absolutely amazing views. If you and your love are all about building trust and trying new things, Moab is for you. 4. San Diego, CA Where to stay: Hotel del Coronado The outdoorsy couple can begin their life together with a beachside escape at Hotel del Coronado. Additionally, couples can venture out on beautiful hikes near The Del such as Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma, Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach, and Torrey Pines in La Jolla and take a swing on the greenway at the Coronado Golf Course that’s less than a mile from The Del.
