What do you do when your 9-month-old baby starts crying during a wedding ceremony? Oh, make that your wedding ceremony...
Well, that's the situation that bride Christina Torino-Benton found herself in recently at her Montreal wedding.
During the church ceremony, baby Gemma began to get upset. “I tried for maybe two minutes to allow some family members to calm her down, but having missed her nap, and in that heat, it wasn't going to happen,” Christina told People. So, Christina sat down in a pew during the ceremony, pulled down her strapless dress (convenient!) and breastfed her baby until she fell asleep minutes later.
According to Christina,

“The people at my wedding were not surprised with me feeding Gemma mid-ceremony because I’m always feeding her at some point or another in front of them.”

After the wedding, Christina posted the candid picture of her breastfeeding to the Facebook page "Breastfeeding Mama Talk," where it has garnered over 8,000 likes. "“I thought I would get a couple hundred likes on the breastfeeding group – I never imagined for a second it would go totally viral! It’s really incredible,” she says."
All we can say is, total mom (and bride) win!
