Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have been together for nearly ten years, so they definitely know a thing or two about how to make a marriage last. And in a recent interview with People Country, Trisha opened up about their secrets to having a happy, healthy partnership.
Basically, these two are our relationship role models and we want them to adpot us.Trisha refers to the one and only Garth Brooks as her "biggest cheerleader," both on and off the stage. They sing together, they raised three girls together, and they support each other:"He's the guy who says, 'There's nothing you can't do.' One of the things we respect about each other is that we're both independent. He makes more money than I do, but I'm an independent girl and always have been. I want to pull my weight in life and in the relationship."
And, even though they're both "very opinionated, [they] try not to give each other advice unless [they're] asked." Sounds like some sound (and very balanced) advice to us!
Here's what Garth told People about his lovely wife: "Thank God I'm with the love of my life. That's why I know I'm right where I'm supposed to be."We're in love with how in love these two are. They really seem to get how to have a relationship that's based on real respect and some true trust. Happy anniversary to the cute couple!
