Palais Royale

The Palais Royale Ballroom, part of the Morris Performing Arts Center, was designed by J.S. Aroner of Chicago and opened in February 1922. As one of only two remaining theater-and-ballroom combinations in the country and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, these venues showcase a remarkable piece of South Bend’s architectural and cultural heritage.
