Hey, I’m Sam Ruiz. I’m a bridal stylist in Los Angeles and the founder of It’s Giving Bridal. You may not believe this, but I thought I was going to hate wedding dress shopping. I didn’t think I would enjoy the pressure, the attention, or the outdated wedding dress styles that I had seen so many people wear. Boy, was I wrong. After trying on dresses for the first time, I realized how much innovation, fun, and joy could be found in this chapter. I started sharing my experience and focused on educating myself more about the industry. Slowly, I grew my following and started receiving requests from people to syle their weddings and photoshoots. Now, bridal is my personality. I work with brides to style their wedding wardrobes and I work with brands to style their campaign and editorial shoots. My style is effortless chic; a blend of modern elements and timeless styles. I focus on high-quality pieces, sustainable and ethical practices, innovative designers, and brands that believe good craftsmanship is an art form. Now let’s get to it, this is going to be fun.
