Chris’ vision for Hessney & Co., the business he launched in 2015, is built on his strong background in event management and design along with a steadfast belief in building solid client relationships through a personalized approach. Chris began his career working for restauranteur Stephen Starr and Chef Morimoto. He furthered his career with Andre Balazs and was an integral part of the opening team at The Standard Highline in New York. Following his successful career with Balazs, Chris was recruited by EMM Group to take on the role of Corporate Style Director where he was instrumental in all creative decision-making and helped define their brand identity. Most recently with Hessney & Co., Chris has collaborated with a wide variety of well- known companies like Armani, Goop, Netflix, and Martha Stewart Weddings, and was recognized as one of the top wedding florists in the U.S. by Harper’s Bazaar Magazine. Chris’ impeccable eye for design and attention to detail put him in a class by himself, making Hessney & Co. synonymous with excellence on the event planning stage.
