Alaska Roots Catering

I was raised in Soldotna, ALASKA where my parents hunted, fished, foraged, and grew their own produce. Every day there were three meals on the table and my folks were always in the kitchen. From a young age, I was very interested in cooking… and eating. It was everything from escargot at a seafood shack in anchorage to making pancakes for the family in the mornings. At the age of 19, I enrolled in a culinary institute in Portland Oregon.
