Wet Hot American Summer & Candy & Cat Inspired Wedding in Lancaster by Ashley Capozzi & Maria Teicher

Dena and Dave are NOT sticklers for tradition. They planned their amazing wedding based on the three things they love most: The movie Wet Hot American Summer, Candy, and Cats! The venue was a summer camp in Lancaster County, PA - the bride and groom and many of the guests stayed in the bunks instead of a hotel! The ceremony took place in an amphitheater in the woods, and the reception included food trucks and dancing under the camp pavilion. Every single detail of the day was DIY - from the reception decorations to the My Little Pony bouquets, and the cat face program/fans. The bride walked herself down the aisle to Rebel Girl by Bikini Kill and the portrait session included pink smoke bombs that matched Dena's hair!
