Southern Gothic Wedding in a Virginia Mansion by Amy Amodeo

This Halloween-styled shoot was inspired by the movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil." The Trivium Estate is a historic antebellum estate mansion located in Forest, Virginia. Decadent details include vintage pieces (cuff-links, bird-cage chair, table settings) and opulent lush florals dripping with fruit, hand-stitched ruby & charcoal fascinator, and unique, custom-designed jewelry. Centerpieces included vintage books, colorful arrangements and many gothic touches. Our bride was adorned with a sumptuous headpiece with hand-sculpted red satin rose, black lace-covered fans sparkling with Swarovski Crystals. Our groom wore a vintage velvet top hat bedecked with decadent jewels. Velvet, lace, bits of gold and deeply rich colors compliment our alternative couple.
