A Whimsical Summer Wedding at Saddlerock Ranch

Jess and Justin were scheduled to get married in July of 2020 in Tuscany, but like so many other couples, COVID had other plans for them. They chose Malibu for the wedding 2.0 because it was a direct flight for everyone coming from the US, Canada, and Australia, and of course, it didn’t hurt that it is stunningly beautiful. Saddlerock Ranch was actually the only venue they looked at in person, and they instantly fell in love and wanted to share it with their family and friends. They connected with LB Events and just loved their approach from the first meeting. Because everyone was traveling in for the wedding, the number one priority was that their friends and family had fun. They wanted everything to be vibrant and colorful, with cocktails flowing all night, and the dance floor full - none of the stuffiness of a more traditional wedding. Justin’s sister Ashley is a wedding florist based outside of Toronto, so there was no question that she would be doing their flowers. The brief - all the color, all the flowers! Justin and Jess both went to the flower market with Ashley a few days before the wedding so they could choose the flowers together. Ashley and Jess also hand-painted all of the taper candles for the tables a few weeks before the wedding for a little personal touch!
