Liz and Liam's journey began on their first day at college in New York, and after nine wonderful years together, they chose to build their future in Miami, where they got engaged and began planning their dream wedding in Key West. They selected the historic Casa Marina as their venue, a setting that captures the elegance and charm of Old Key West. Liz designed the wedding with simplicity and elegance in mind, using whites and soft blues to set a sophisticated, candlelit ambiance in the ballroom, complemented by a local jazz band that filled the space with romance. Their Jewish ceremony was led by Rabbi Richard Chizever from Miami, with soulful melodies sung by a guest cantor, creating an atmosphere of beauty and tradition. During the cocktail hour on the ballroom patio, guests enjoyed classic martinis, sushi, and the unique touch of a live painter capturing the moment. The reception unfolded in the ballroom, where the newlyweds celebrated with traditions like the challah blessing, a memorable first dance to a nostalgic '90s song, and the traditional hora, followed by more dancing. When the night ended, guests boarded a trolley for an after-party at the speakeasy bar General Horseplay, making this unforgettable weekend complete.
