A Romantic Winter Wedding at 1 Hotel South Beach

Griffen and Laura's winter wedding at 1 Hotel South Beach was an example of love showing up in every detail. Although they now live in Texas, Laura grew up in Miami, making a destination wedding there especially meaningful to them. The design concept centered around elevating the hotel’s signature aesthetic (neutral, organic, and textured) into something more refined, luxurious, and slightly moodier. When Events By Elle initially had the design finalized, everything shifted after a FaceTime call during one of Laura’s dress fittings. Seeing her in the gown inspired the team to elevate the vision even further. They replaced lighter wood tones with deeper, richer finishes and swapped the original wood bars for luxurious velvet, adding depth and sophistication to the overall look.
