A Romantic Summer Wedding at Felicity Church

New Orleans, LA
Alex and Jesse's wedding at Felicity Church in the enchanting Garden District of New Orleans was a testament to elevated elegance and garden romance. Guests entered through an asymmetric floral arch by Antigua Floral—a striking introduction to the ceremony. Italian spruce trees lined the altar space, lending an air of natural beauty and tranquility to the grand ceilings and stained glass. Grand crystal chandeliers from Luminous were suspended above. Guests exited the ceremony by the Second Line Parade with an authentic New Orleans brass band. As they celebrated in the streets, the Uncommon Camellia team transformed the sanctuary for an elegant seated dinner. Most notably, the church pews were transformed into table bases by overlaying a custom table top directly to the seat. Designer Amelie Pizza created and executed this concept with an aesthetic tablescape and ghost bar stools. Guests savored a calibrated menu from Black Pearl Catering in this first-of-its-kind elevated floor plan at the historic venue.
