A Romantic Summer Wedding at Colony Club Detroit

Sam and Rachel met in Detroit during the summer of 2019 while working with local students through an AmeriCorps program. Their connection was instant, and though their time together was brief, their love grew steadily, culminating in a romantic proposal in Paris’s Jardin des Tuileries. For their wedding at the historic Colony Club Detroit, captured by Rosy and Shaun Wedding Photography, the couple embraced a city-chic style with vintage elegance. Rachel wore an off-the-shoulder gown with a lace cathedral veil, while Sam donned a matching shawl collar tuxedo. After a private first look, they exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony led by their retired pastor. Inside the grand ballroom, vibrant florals popped against cream-and-gold neoclassical decor, and signature cocktails reflected special memories from their relationship.
