A Classic Winter Wedding at The Vinoy

Betty and Tony's winter wedding brought an enchanting elegance to this pink landmark resort in Florida. The Vinoy Resort provided a cocktail hour in the Tea Garden, followed by an elevated ballroom experience indoors for dinner. Tony and Betty’s ceremony was held at a nearby church, where roses and orchids lined the steps to the stage beneath a striking decorative ceiling. Betty wore two separate looks for her wedding day. The first had a Spanish flair, with swirling lace applique and a matching mantilla-inspired veil. She changed into a sparkling gown with beading atop lace but donned the same extravagance as the first gown, including a train and a similar style of lace. Inside the reception hall was an extravagant dining experience. Two white faux tree installations were created from orchids and carnations, having a white cherry blossom tree effect. Tables were laden in gold, from serving ware to candles. A large mirrored seating chart directed guests to find their tables, as nearby trellises were illuminated by tea lights. The multi-layered wedding cake included embossed floral details and a unique spiral of fresh florals that danced elegantly into the air.
