The venue Eliza and Michael chose was so beautiful, so they wanted to utilize many areas of it. They had the ceremony in a smaller garden, before moving to cocktail hour at the lemon garden in front of Villa Grabau, finally moving to the limonaia (lemon house where the villa's lemon trees are stored all winter) for dinner, cake, and dancing. They wanted their decorative elements to complement the existing beauty of the villa and gardens and took that into consideration when picking vendors and final products/design elements. Eliza and Michael chose to go with a mix of white and pink flowers to match the Italian limonaia that they had their dinner outside of, which has an orangey-pink exterior. They used the fantastic Galateo Ricevimenti, based out of Florence, as their caterer. They had an aperol spritz and hugo spritz bar at cocktail hour with a number of passed finger foods. For dinner, they did three courses: two pastas and a main, followed by a traditional Italian millefoglie cake that was prepared live in front of their guests, which was very fun! Eliza and Michael also had a dessert table, and later in the night, pizza was passed around as a snack.
