A Classic Summer Wedding at Belle Mar

Mary Claire and Ean's perfect summer destination wedding in Newport, Rhode Island took place on the same weekend as the Newport Regatta, so the weekend was full of harbor views full of sailboats for maximum Instagram-worthy moments. The 125 guest black tie formal event started with a Catholic Mass ceremony and shifted into a reception at the iconic Belle Mer on Goat Island. The couple wanted their wedding to feel like a modern version of the Kennedy wedding of 1953, which also took place in Newport, so they chose classic details like an all-white design, babies breath and a black and white checkered dance floor. Sweet moments like soaking up the sunset in Adirondack chairs created the perfect New England wedding vibe. A Ben & Jerry's ice cream bar with endless toppings was the best way to end this day!
