A Classic Summer Rehearsal Dinner at The Anchor Rose

The Story
Hannah and Nick knew they wanted a classic California location for their rehearsal dinner, and the Santa Barbara Pier was the perfect choice. Their rehearsal dinner took place on a beautiful evening at The Anchor Rose, offering stunning views of both the mountains and the ocean. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, with 50 of their closest friends and family. During golden hour, they snuck away to take portraits on the pier. Hannah’s outfit was incredibly special to her. She had her grandmother’s white lace vintage Oscar de la Renta two-piece suit hanging in her closet for years and knew this was the perfect occasion to wear it. She had it custom-remade into a halter top and skirt, allowing her to carry a piece of her grandmother with her. Dinner was held on the balcony with a view of the sunset, creating the perfect way to kick off their wedding celebration. Their families gave the sweetest toasts, and the memories from the evening will stay with them forever. As an oyster farmer, Hannah wanted to embrace the beachy casual atmosphere of Santa Barbara, and the unique tablescape reflected that. It was made of sand and seashells, creating a minimalist and natural ocean‑inspired design.
