A Beautiful Gold and Navy Summer Wedding in Kansas by Tina Kraemer

I had been looking forward to Stephanie and Edward’s wedding at The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center ever since I photographed their sweetheart session at the Kansas City Country Club Plaza. Their happiness and giggliness are so contagious, it makes my cheeks hurt just thinking about it! They are one of the kindest and most thoughtful couples I know as evidenced by the number of people celebrating with them at their wedding. Their bridal party was filled with siblings and friends and we had so much fun going all over the Westin hotel. They surprised all of their guests with jaw-dropping choreographed performances for their first dance, bridal party, and mother-son dance! It’s no secret that Filipinos LOVE to dance and that’s exactly what happened until the lights went on after the end of the reception as DJ Johnny Quest kept the party going. And I’m so glad we used the last bit of sunset for their husband and wife portraits for some of my all-time favorite Kansas City skyline pictures!
