When it comes to choosing your wedding flowers, there's a lot to learn.  From colors and care, to costs and all sorts of wedding floral design inspiration, we're your "best bud." One of the most popular wedding flowers, called  the "hydrangea", is not only beautiful but also incredibly versatile.  Here is everything you need to know about hydrangeas for your big day.
Flower name: Hydrangea (Scientific name: Hydrangea Macrophylla)
Season: Summer and Fall.
Colors available: White, pink, green, blue, and purple.
Care: Start by removing all the leaves from the hydrangeas' stems. While running each stem under cold water, make a diagonal cut at the desired length, then make a 1/2" vertical cut just above it to allow the hydrangea to pull more water. Place the flowers in a vase filled with room temperature water. Don't forget to replenish the water every 2-3 days to prolong the life of your blooms.
Fun fact: Signifying enduring grace and beauty, this lush bloom is the official flower of the four-year wedding anniversary and the astrological sign, Libra.
Average wholesale cost: $3 a stem.
Why we love them: These blooms are bountiful and full, giving you more for your money.
Our ideal bouquet? White hydrangeas with dusty miller and Virginia bluebells.
