15 Wedding Influencers to Follow (and Stalk) on Instagram

Customize your own event checklist with due dates, personal reminders, and timelines for all your wedding to do’s.

Let’s face it, there’s not a lot to do these days besides sit on social media. I know I sometimes catch myself checking Instagram so often that nothing new has been posted since the last time I opened the app (oops). And since it seems like there are infinite hours of scrolling through content, it can be hard to know where to start. Even if you only focus on wedding content, the amount of amazing and inspiring content out there is still almost endless.

Well, have no fear. We’ve been doing some Insta-stalking for you and have a whole new list of wedding influencers that you should absolutely be following. Lots of weddings and wedding celebrations have had to be postponed recently, but that just means that there’s way more time for planning and daydreaming about your ideal day. What better way to do so than on Instagram?

It’s hard enough to narrow down all of the amazing wedding-related Instagram accounts out there that are doing inspiring work. So we chose to focus this list on those that we feel do particularly well on Instagram and that you might not have heard of before. So here are our recommendations for wedding influencers to follow!

Wedding Dress Instagrams

First on our list is Saldana Vintage. They’re a wedding dress company based in LA that does both ready-to-wear and custom pieces. We are a sucker for some vintage lace, and that’s what Saldana does best. We love the elegant boho vibes of their page and seeing how they make each bride stunning while remaining loyal to their style.

Next up is a brand we’ve featured before in other wedding dress articles, but we just can’t get enough of their content! Luxe Bridal is the place to go for absolutely gorgeous inclusively-sized dresses. They have such a clear dedication to making every person feel confident and comfortable, and they’re a refreshing way to break up the stereotypical size 0 content of most wedding dress pages.

One word that comes to mind when it comes to One Day Bridal is class. This page is organized beautifully, and they’re a great resource for overall wedding day look inspiration even outside of dresses. They do feature their beautiful gowns quite often, but we also love the fact that they work in other aspects of the wedding day and recognize that brides want every piece to fit together perfectly.

Wedding Cake Instagrams

If you’re looking for creative, drool-worthy, and stunning baked goods all in the same place, look no further than Sweet Heather Anne. This page is IT when it comes to modern and elegant cakes that demonstrate clear originality and attention to detail. There is a little bit of everything in terms of style, but one thing that remains consistent is the beautiful finished products that look almost too good to eat.

Next up is a little bit of a cheat, as it’s more of a cupcake page than a full cake page, but take one look and tell me that Cakes by Jane Taylor is not some of the best Instagram content you’ve ever seen. Her “cupcake bouquets” are out of this world, and you might even get a 2-for-1 deal by getting some floral inspiration as well. We love the vibrancy and the gracefulness of every perfectly placed petal, and her posts are sure to brighten up your feed and your day.

If there’s one bakery page where fun and beauty come together, it’s Buttercream Bakeshop in DC. Don’t be fooled by some of their wackier creations; their page also features beautifully designed and decorated cakes that look almost too good to be true. Buttercream Bakeshop offers a little bit of everything, but we’ll take anything that they’ve got!

Wedding Florals Instagrams

Just in case Cakes by Jane Taylor didn’t fulfill all of your floral inspiration needs, we’ve got another winner for you in Colibri Blooms. This page is a graceful balance of vibrant and muted colors, and we love getting to see all the ways that her designs are used on wedding days. It’s clear that they truly understand how flowers work together, and the end results are simply gorgeous.

If there’s one thing that we love to see on “wedding florals” Instagram, it’s the flowers actually in use. That’s one of our favorite things about A florae’s page—it demonstrates their immense skill at getting the flowers to become seamlessly part of the entire wedding vibe. Also, their flower crown content? 10/10.

For those of you who perhaps prefer a little more wild in your wildflowers, check out Design by Nature. We love the simple beauty of their designs and the way that they truly let the natural structure of the plant speak for itself. Their intention in the placing of every bloom makes endless inspiration to be found on their page.

Wedding Planners & Designers to Follow

For some wedding design and decor inspiration, be sure to check out Aliana Events. We love the way that she grants us multiple looks and images into the same day to truly tell the story of an event. There is an elegance and a whimsy in all of her work that we think could translate to any type of wedding you’re looking to plan.

One of our favorite finds of this whole adventure was Royal Design Indonesia. Now, they are located in Jakarta, but their page is absolutely full of inspiration for your own wedding day. We love the focus on various color aesthetics in sections on their page, and we highly recommend you scroll through all their posts to get the full effect of their gorgeous work.

Now, we did try to highlight smaller or potentially newer pages on this list, as it’s pretty easy to just follow the biggest names and be done with it. However, if there is one top wedding designer that deserves another shoutout for her work on Instagram, it’s Laurie Arons. Her page is the definition of class and truly captures the essence of what a beautiful wedding looks like. We completely see why she continues to gain so much recognition as one of the US’s top wedding planners.

Wedding Photographers to Follow

If there’s one wedding industry that really reigns supreme on Instagram, it’s of course wedding photography. Up first is Light Visuals Co., a husband and wife team that crafts incredibly intimate and moving imagery. We love the muted and yet deep tones of their photos and their dedication to letting every couple tell their story.

For a modern and magical twist on traditional bridal photography, check out SoCal Standard, a revolutionary photographer who demonstrates the vibrancy and brilliance of every single bride. Her work is brilliantly editorial without feeling over-posed, and the love and care in every photo are sure to bring a smile to your face whenever it comes up on your feed.

Finally, we have Sacia Matthews, a wedding photographer who also does boudoir shoots. We think that her clear eye for intimacy and natural beauty make her wedding photos that much more powerful. The peachy tones of her work create a wonderfully cohesive page, and we love that she highlights her work with both couples and the world in which they live.

We know that this list is nowhere near complete or comprehensive, but we hope we may have directed you to one or two new accounts. Now more than ever, it’s important to show our support and dedication to smaller wedding companies who are struggling due to the current climate. So press follow, and let all of the wedding brainstorming and daydreaming begin!
