A Non-Traditional Elopement on a New York City Stoop

Inspired by the many NYC couples who opted to go ahead with elopements and micro weddings during the height of the pandemic, three gorgeous vintage gowns (showstoppers from Oscar de la Renta, Fred Perlberg and Jessica McClintock) were sourced from LA vintage salon Happy Isles. The dresses were showcased against the backdrop of a jaw dropping floral installation by local floral designer Brooklyn Blooms, who brought a colorful stoop wedding to life. Mandi and Greg renewed their vows to each other using book designed by Goods Gangs. The intimate post-ceremony “reception” moment featured local treats: champagne from Brooklyn Wine Co., cake and donuts by Brooklyn-based cake designer TP Bakes, to-go cocktails from one of the neighborhood’s most beloved bars, Elsa, and pizza from Brooklyn institution Roberta’s. Throughout the day neighbors stopped by to congratulate Mandi and Greg and to admire the gorgeous installation.
