A Classic Fall Wedding at Vanlandingham Estate

Kenzie Dubrul and Jay McNally celebrated their wedding at the Vanlandingham Estate in Charlotte, NC, with a stunning event that blended timeless elegance and modern luxury. Drawing inspiration from the refined charm of iconic hotel lobbies like The Dewberry in Charleston and The Vanderbilt in Newport, they embraced a hotel lobby–inspired theme that felt both warm and sophisticated. Their concept of silent luxury came to life through thoughtful design details—a chic dance floor reminiscent of a grand lobby, a moody bar with a speakeasy feel, and soft, ambient lighting that set the tone. Personalized touches, like curated bookshelf décor reflecting the groom’s love for cigars and bourbon, added depth and meaning. Three chandeliers outside the tent symbolized the past, present, and future, guiding guests from ceremony to reception with intention and grace.
