A Romantic Mountainside Proposal in Aspen

Kiley grew up in the foothills of Colorado and Aspen was a very special place to her family. Her mom and dad both lived there and met each other in the 80's and got engaged there themselves in 1986. Beau and Kiley meet during the pandemic in 2020 and instantly connected, despite the wild state of the world. Beau took Kiley to Aspen the fall of 2020, knowing how special it was to her for their first getaway together. He asked her to be his girlfriend officially at the bottom of the Maroon Bells peak in Aspen. Fast forward almost three years later, moving in together, getting a puppy, tons of weddings, trips, highs, lows, and life lived together, Beau took Kiley back to Aspen in the summer of 2023 during a busy summer. He tricked her into thinking they were going out to a fancy brunch in town and instead (this time dressed up) took her back to the same place at the bottom of Maroon Bells peak and proposed. He had a photographer hiding out to capture the whole moment. Upon having a photo shoot at Maroon Bells, the photographer and Beau convinced Kiley to complete the photo shoot at the top of Aspen Mountain. They rode the gondola up to the top and upon arriving Kiley was ecstatic to see that her entire family, Beau's family and a few close friends were waiting at the top with champagne and brunch to throw an engagement party on top of the mountain! Kiley's brother-in-law is in the military and Beau's family is all from out of town so it was very emotional and special that they were all there to celebrate with her! This day was filled with pure love and joy and it is is an honor to share it with others! There were many details by the mother of the bride and her sisters put into the brunch and engagement party spread at the top of Aspen Mountain, including the bride's favorite sandwiches from the Aspen deli her family frequented, plenty of cold champagne bottles, individual and personalized match box favors, and her favorite packaged cookies!
