Born and raised along the California coast in Long Beach, Rachel has always been drawn to creative expression. After studying music with an emphasis in vocals, she began to reimagine what that creativity could look like beyond the stage. Guided by mentors like Laura Williams of Poppy Hill Flowers and longtime friend Kelsea Olivia Gaynor of East Olivia, Rachel found her way into floral design. Her work is rooted in a love of color, texture, and an organic, slightly untamed aesthetic—ideal for eclectic couples and thoughtfully designed large-scale events. Rather than relying on formulaic designs, Rachel has cultivated a distinct approach that feels both intentional and alive, guided by a simple mantra: find your voice and let it bloom. At Velvet Blooms, every arrangement is created to feel personal, elevated, and entirely one of a kind.
