Sawyer Baird is a photographer based in Brooklyn New York. Raised in the South East just at the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains Sawyer has always been inspired by nature and the beauty of the simplicity found in the world. She received her first camera at the age of 14 after being inspired by her grandfather + mother always snapping photos on the day-to-day and during special occasions. From the beginning exposure to the world of film in a digital age has left a footprint in Sawyer’s work today. Incorporating different mediums into her photography work. Sawyer photographed her first wedding when she was sixteen years old, and she later attended Savannah College of Art & Design to study photography + interiors. Here we are over a decade later and her love for photography remains. Documenting the little moments in a refined and timeless way.
