The Pousada is the result of the restoration of a Cistercian Monastery from the 12th century, a work of distinguished architect, Eduardo Souto de Moura, winner of the 2011 Pritzker Prize, the most important worldwide architecture prize. The Pousada is located only 17 minutes from Peneda Gerês National Park and is enveloped in fascinating scenery. During your stay, you can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and leave your vehicle in the car park, where there is an electric vehicle charging station.
