Milani Bakery

For over 25 years, Emilio and Marina Milani have shared their Italian heritage through the art of baking. After moving from Moricone, Rome, to Connecticut in 1993, they opened Coffee Island Café, a cozy spot offering gourmet coffee, sandwiches, panini, and homemade baked goods. A decade later, they brought their craft to North Haven with the opening of Milani’s Italian Bakery in the heart of Northford. Coming from a long line of bakers, Emilio learned his skills from his father, Tullio Milani, who began baking in the 1950s, and he continues to honor that legacy with a passion that transforms pastry into an unforgettable experience.
