With nearly 20 years as a wedding photographer, I’ve been fortunate to capture countless love stories. Growing up in rural western Canada with a Hawaiian name, I was a shy kid who spent my spare time drawing, painting, and studying art history. My love for art led me to photograph weddings on film while pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver and St. Martin's College in the UK. I later studied Latin, ancient Greek, and Hebrew at the University of British Columbia, an experience that shaped my discipline and approach to photography. Every image I create is individually edited to be true to life, timeless, and understated. Rather than following specific trends, I draw inspiration from my clients, the setting, and the day itself, aiming for a flattering and authentic representation of each moment.
