My name is Lori - the owner, & the face behind it all! A lot of people always ask - how did you get started in this line of work? The story isn’t as cool as some would think. So here it is. Short & sweet. My sister was expecting her third baby, she was in her third trimester and I decided to plan a baby shower because what the heck, every new baby deserves to be celebrated. But, here’s the kicker, she was due soon & I needed to plan a shower and FAST! I didn’t have time to find a cake that I loved with the short time frame I gave myself. So me being me… I decided to make it myself! & I did!! Macarons, Cakepops, cookies and a 3 tier cake! I posted it & everyone asked me to start making cakes for them! & that my friends is literally how L.B’s Cakes & was born! My poor planning skills built a business I’ve loved and adored ever since!
