Karrn Middleman Photographer

Karrn is a Grand Rapids, Michigan–based photographer, art teacher, and proud mom of two, with a career rooted in storytelling and creativity. Offering both film & digital coverage, she has been professionally photographing weddings and portraits since 2007, bringing over 15 years of experience and more than 400 weddings to her work throughout Michigan and the Chicago area. In 2024, she launched Karrn Middleman Photographer as a new creative chapter, deeply influenced by her lifelong love of film photography—a passion sparked in 1993 by her grandfather’s Canon AE-1 and later refined through a BA in Photography from the University of Arizona. Today, she continues to shoot film for personal projects, developing and printing her own work in her home darkroom, while capturing love stories and real-life moments with heart, artistry, and intention.
