Each wedding photographer comes from a different background. For me, that background is professional journalism. The years I spent reporting for newspapers, magazines, and radio have profoundly shaped how I approach weddings. In particular, it’s important to me to never have a preconceived idea of your story or to try to shape the story itself. While some photographers embrace a style that requires careful curation and posing to get the photographs they want, my approach is different. Instead, my work is about capturing authentic joy, full presence, and a story that is real. Those, to me, are the very best photographs.
