John Aaron Troy

John Aaron Troy is a saxophonist, woodwind specialist, educator, and recording artist with an extensive background in classical and jazz performance. Beginning his musical studies at age 10, he trained under respected mentors and continued his education at Fredonia University and Purchase Conservatory, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies. An active performer and clinician throughout the East Coast, he has appeared with acclaimed artists and ensembles including The John Brown Big Band, Nicholas Payton, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Take 6, Regina Carter, and the Erie Philharmonic. With experience spanning touring productions, commercial music, and education, he continues to share his artistry as a versatile soloist and instructor.
