Twelve years ago, I got to spend the best day of my life marrying my favorite person. At the time, I knew it was special—but it wasn’t until my dad passed away that I truly understood just how deeply meaningful that day was, or how priceless my wedding photos would become. There’s one image in particular that stops me in my tracks every time, I can still hear the words he whispered in my ear as he gave me away. It brings chills, even now. That moment, frozen in time, is why I became a wedding photographer.
