Gayle Brooker

Surrounded by artists in her family, Gayle Brooker, originally of Greenville, SC, fell in love with photography at an early age leading her to complete a Masters of Fine Arts in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2002. Following RISD, Brooker accepted a teaching position at the College of Charleston as the sabbatical replacement for the Head of the Photography program during the 2003-04 school year. In 2004, she moved to New York City and for the next three years worked for established editorial and wedding photographers.
