Events by Reagan

Events by Reagan is a full-service event and wedding planning company serving the Southeast, West Coast, and anywhere in between. Reagan identified her love of event planning while at Washington and Lee University when a professor challenged the class to 'find something you love and find a way to make money doing it. ' As a Business Administration major who graduated Magna Cum Laude, becoming a wedding and event planner was breaking the norm Ò but it felt right. After shadowing W&L's Special Events Coordinator, learning the 'back of the house' by piecing together several catering and waitressing jobs, and directing a handful of weddings on her own, Reagan landed a job as a full service event planner in her hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia. Less than a year later, Reagan's work brought her to Charleston, South Carolina as the Senior Event Planner for Kristin Newman Designs. While at Kristin Newman Designs, Reagan collaborated in the design and coordination of events from coast to coast. Her work with Kristin Newman Designs has been featured in multiple national publications, including Martha Stewart Weddings, Southern Living Weddings, and Brides Magazine. In 2012, life and work evolved and led to the foundation of Events by Reagan. While based in the Southeast, Reagan's work takes her up and down the East Coast from the Carolinas and Virginia to New York and beyond. The ability to travel and plan in different cities is invigorating and inspirational to Reagan and always leads to fresh ideas. When Reagan is not dreaming of beautiful events, she is likely on the beach spending time with her husband, Grant, and their golden retriever, Penny.
