Dana Marie Weddings & Events is led by founder and principal planner Dana Hookanson, a Rhode Island–based wedding professional with a background in luxury hospitality and event management across New England. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, she built her career through hands-on roles at premier venues like OceanCliff Hotel & Resort and Newport Experience, rising to Banquet Manager before launching her own company in 2020. Known for her detail-oriented and highly organized approach, she brings a refined, client-focused experience to every celebration. Based in Cranston with her family, she is passionate about transforming each couple’s vision into a meaningful and beautifully executed event.
