About
I began my obsession with photography when I was 13 years old. I would use all my allowance to buy disposable film cameras, take photos of literally everything and everyone, and then get the files scanned on a compact disk so I could edit them for hours in the most basic editing program available circa 1998. A decade ago I shot my first wedding and fell completely head over heels in love with documenting human connection. I quit my corporate job two months later and went all in shooting weddings full time. 10 years later and I can truly say I have my dream job. It has stretched me as a human and as a creative, as well as taken me to so many new parts of the world. The constant wonderful challenge of growing as an artist and photojournalist is something to which I am deeply connected. I am most inspired by high fashion editorial, film shots from decades past, unique architecture, breathtaking scenery, wild dance parties, and the ways in which humans connect with one another. I bring this into my work - focusing on editorial portraits captured along with storytelling moments to produce artistic, artful, soulful imagery. My goal is not just to take portraits, but capture the full complexity of how your wedding day felt. All the emotions experienced and the small in-between moments - the belly laughs, tackle hugs, tears, epic drunken dance moves - all of it. Delivering the full story of the day. Providing a gallery of images that transports you back in time, to relive every emotion from start to finish.
