Carrie Newnam Scott - Floral Design was born out of a passion for botanical art and interior design. Growing up with parents who were established gardeners, has meant floral design and creativity has always had a special place in MY heart. I describe my style as Bohemian Alternative. You’ll see from my work I adore nude, warm, ethereal vibes, dark moody tones or bright pops of colour. These styles reflect the different sides of my personality and I like to express them all. Working predominantly with dried and preserved flowers, I like to create pieces that feel authentic to who I am, the color palette is just dependent on what I’m feeling in that moment. I’m obsessed with texture and like to convey this through all my designs regardless of color palette.
