Invite me to anything, and I’m excited to be there. I don’t complain. I don’t sneak out early. And I never show up empty-handed. My story is simple: there was never any other industry for me. I’ve always been someone who celebrates everything. What began as finding any excuse to throw a themed party as a child eventually evolved into kicking off my events career in New York City working for the best of the best. I spent a decade sharpening my skills as a wedding planner with some of the most recognized names in the industry, producing high-end events with celebrities and dignitaries in attendance, and assisting catering and stationery-design companies along the way—all of which gave me incredible insight into every aspect of luxury event planning before founding Carly Black Events.
