Black Creek Flowers

Erica Hutchison, owner of Black Creek Flowers, discovered her passion for floral design early on, inspired by her parents' love of nature and gardening. She got her start as a high school student—learning to drive in a floral delivery van—and carried that passion through college at Longwood University. In 2010, she opened her own flower shop and married her high school sweetheart, Cameron. As their family grew, Erica shifted her focus to weddings and large-scale events, closing the shop in 2016 to build a home-based floral workshop. Now a proud mom of two boys, Grady and Sawyer, Erica brings creativity, heart, and a cozy touch—often while working in yoga pants and fuzzy socks—to every floral design she creates.
