Alaina Stark, Harpist

Alaina Rose is a Los Angeles–based concert harpist whose musical roots lie in Northern California, where she first discovered her lifelong passion for the harp at age two. A graduate of the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, she is known for her versatile approach to the instrument, seamlessly blending classical foundations with influences from Celtic, pop, rock, and contemporary genres. Trained under esteemed mentors, including Anna Maria Mendieta and Lou Anne Neill, former principal harpist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Alaina has performed with prominent orchestras and ensembles throughout the Western United States and at UCLA. Her work spans orchestral, chamber, jazz, mariachi, and contemporary music, reflecting a deep commitment to innovation, collaboration, and sharing the expressive beauty of the harp with diverse audiences.
