A Whimsical Fall Wedding at River Cliff

The Story

Tessa and Billy’s love of moonlight magic inspired their celestial-themed wedding as they worked to capture the beauty of a twinkling night sky. Their unique celebration was held at River Cliff in Tennessee. Not only did the venue provide a remarkable outdoor ceremony location, but it also included a grapevine-covered pergola for an enchanting evening of outdoor dining. Gathering at the overlook in front of a golden moon at the altar, guests enjoyed the vantage point of two rivers meeting. Tessa played a part in much of the decor, DIY’ing the crystals and flowers on the moon arch in addition to creating her bridal bouquet. She wore a dreamy gown with off-the-shoulder bishop sleeves and moon-goddess appeal. Attached at the back was a golden cape-like fabric printed in sparkling stars. Billy also embraced the theme, sporting a bowtie and matching cufflinks embroidered with constellations in gold thread to pair with this burgundy tuxedo. Floral arrangements sprung forth with plumes of pink and red dyed feathers. As evening set in, the reception moved beneath the grapevines, illuminated by bistro lights. Many touches of magic graced the decor, including framed cross-stitch signage and vintage furniture. In keeping with the energy of a night sky, a sparkler and firework send-off bid the couple farewell.
