A Glamorous Winter Wedding at The Huntington

Bobby and Matthew married on a warm January day with a double rainbow overhead as they walked through Boston before their ceremony. As lovers of the arts they chose The Huntington Theatre a place deeply meaningful to them. Bobby serves on its Board of Advisors and Matthew co-chairs its young donor program. Their ceremony opened with a solo performance of Lighthouse Keeper by Sam Smith before the red curtain lifted to reveal them dancing under crystal chandeliers. The theatre’s artistic director officiated making for an emotional exchange of vows. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails on the mezzanine with a menu curated by MAX Ultimate Food. Dinner in the rehearsal space blended timeless elegance with rich textures inspired by their love for Ralph Lauren’s design aesthetic. The celebration continued with a second-line parade leading guests back to the stage now transformed into a dance floor. A live band kept the energy high as the couple cut into a three-tiered cake and changed outfits before dancing late into the night. Every detail was intentional creating a wedding that was both personal and unforgettable.
