A Glamorous Summer Wedding at Renaissance Island

When entertainment TV host and lifestyle influencer XiXi Yang started planning her dream destination wedding, the perfect choice was Renaissance Island, Aruba, where she and her groom Will had first vacationed together as a couple in 2016 - they loved the location so much, they planned the whole wedding without even visiting the venue in person until they showed up for the wedding week! XiXi's best friend and Man of Honor, celebrity fashion designer Michael Costello (who's dressed her for the red carpet for years), had complete creative freedom to design a custom couture gown for her that represented her free-spirited-meets-glam personality. He sewed a patch of the groom's late grandmother's handkerchief into the gown, a sweet gesture to honor her that was returned tenfold: right when the couple kissed after saying "I do," a pelican flew across. According to the groom's Native American heritage, pelicans are messengers of the Great Spirit and symbolize the continuity of life, death, and rebirth. What an unbelievable moment for the couple to witness with friends and family and feel her spirit! This day was all about celebrating their heritages and cultures, and of course, epic fashion moments, gorgeous sunset views, and a private beach dance party all night long!
