Managing Your Relationship With Wedding Vendors

Discover, manage, and track all of your vendor communication, contracts, and timelines in one place.
We know you want your big day to be perfect, but that doesn't mean you need to micromanage and hound your vendors to make it happen... Before you send the umpteenth follow-up email to your florist, take a look at these five things you need to remember to help keep the peace with your wedding pros.
1. You hired them for a reason. You hired these people because you saw value in their work and skill set, remember? Don't forget that when you're running around franticly trying to make sure they're doing their job.
2. They are the experts. You may think you know all there is to know about spring flowers or table settings, but your vendors do this for a living. Speak up about what you want, but trust their professional opinion and go with it.
3. They have more experience than you. Most likely, these vendors have worked more weddings than you have ever even attended. Make the most of their extensive experience by trusting their judgement on the big day.
4. They don't need constant calls from you. It's totally okay to check in once in a while, but don't feel like you need to call your vendor for a weekly (or daily...) touch base. If they need input from you, they'll be sure to reach out.
5. They want to make your life easier and your wedding better. At the end of the day, most vendors are passionate about their craft, and they truly want your wedding to be everything you've been dreaming up. Remember that they have the best of intentions and they're totally on your team.
