Loving all of the cozy fall wedding inspo we have been seeing, and this shoot is no exception! Brittany Westermann of Reed + James Events wanted to choose a color palette and theme that would echo and enhance the muted hues of The General's Daughter. The planners chose gold as the accent color, hoping to bring in a romantic sense that also incorporated the fall season. Achieving an ethereal and romantic look, full of candles, beautiful furniture, and textured flowers. For the dress, they chose a gown by Sarah Seven with many layers of silk, which brought in a different textures element. The stationery featured a hand-drawn portrait of the venue, which was a very fun detail to include. The General's Daughter has a beautiful porch, so they placed lounge furniture on the porch of the venue to make it feel homey and intimate.
