Exclusive access to expert wedding planning advice and resources from top industry professionals.
As the grocery stores and produce stands fill with ripe summer berries and citrus, we can't help but be inspired by their vibrant colors and fragrances. We love the idea of incorporating fresh fruits into your wedding decor and menu. Here are our tips on how to do it. [[tall_card_image_id: 278823]]

1
Choose a fruitful wedding venue.

Why not get married at a strawberry field or apple orchard? You're guaranteed a pretty ceremony venue and you can dine under the stars (or a tent) with your friends an family.

2
Add fruit to your bouquet or boutonnière.

Adding a few berry sprigs to your bouquet is a simple way to add a bit of bohemian flair to your wedding day look. Looking to replicate that look for the men? Consider adding fruit to their boutonnieres as well.

3
Serve a fruity cocktail.

Signature drinks are the easiest way to add fresh flavor to your wedding, and the vast variety of fruit-flavored liquors and juices means the options are truly endless. If you're not set on serving a fruity cocktail, consider making ice cubes with raspberries or blackberries frozen inside for a pretty touch.

4
Add fresh fruit to your menu.

From a fig and goat cheese crostini appetizer to a strawberry filled naked cake, there are many ways to add fruit to your wedding menu. Guests will love the fresh and in-season flavor.

5
Send your guests home with something sweet.

We know that berry jams are a little overplayed, but it's a popular wedding favor for a reason: guests love it and can actually use it. If the jam has sentimental value (it's made at your local farm or wedding venue) that's an added bonus! And if you live somewhere where amazing fruit is in season (hello, Georgia peaches!), a piece of fruit can make a lovely favor.
