4 Ways to Make Your Father's Day Gathering Extra Special

Customize your own event checklist with due dates, personal reminders, and timelines for all your wedding to do’s.
Even though good ol' dad may not have a preference on his party decor this Father's Day, there are still a few simple touches you can add to make his holiday a little more honorary! Here are our tips for giving dad a personalized get together he won't soon forget.

1
Have a bourbon bar or beer tasting.

Offer samples of a variety of beer or bourbon this Dad's Day. Your father will love that you put time into researching the perfect Kentucky blend or craft brew. Set up the different drinks on a table and make sure you have the right glassware!

2
Serve dad's favorite feast.

Whether your father enjoys a nice filet, fried chicken and mashed potatoes, or chocolate cake, do your best to incorporate some of his favorite foods into your menu.

3
Don't forget dessert!

Even if Dad doesn't have a sweet tooth, we still recommend serving up a savory and sweet dessert like pie or any combination of chocolate, bacon and whiskey.

4
Plan a post-dinner activity.

Take the family out to the driving range, or plan to take Dad to a local brewery or pub post-meal. Don't forget to snap some pictures along the way!
