This story begins with five-year-old Lauren Young, who got an antique hand held mirror as a gift from her dad, along with the oh-so-sweet sentiments: "I hope that you will always look into this mirror and see the same beauty that I see in you." Many years later, the soon-to-be-bride shared the tale with Bill Hamilton of Bill Hamilton Designs, who found it so touching that it became the inspiration for Lauren's wedding day. Read on for the full story behind the big day: antiquewedding antiquewedding antiquewedding "Some things were well worth the wait," said Lauren's now husband, Josh Weber, who waited three hours for Lauren to arrive on their first date. Three years later, on Lauren's birthday, the sweet duo exchanged wedding vows at the Christ Church Cranbrook, which is near and dear to their families. antiquewedding antiquewedding antiquewedding Scottish bagpipers led Lauren and her father down the long church aisle to an eagerly awaiting groom. Following the tradition, the marching musicians also escorted the newlyweds and their bridal party out of the church. antiquewedding antiquewedding antiquewedding Following the ceremony, friends and family gathered at the elegant Oakland Hills Country Club for the reception. Comfort was key to the family, so they made sure guests got a warm welcome. antiquewedding antiquewedding antiquewedding Meanwhile, Bill Hamilton designed an inviting space and brought in Gourmet Invitations to help design all the printed materials, including a reflective six-foot-tall seating chart inspired by that childhood gift given to the bride when she was just five years old. antiquewedding antiquewedding VENDORS Photographer: Robert Bruce Photography Wedding Planner: Bill Hamilton Designs Ceremony Site: Christ Church Cranbrook Reception Site: Oakland Hills Country Club Flowers: Bill Hamilton Designs Hair & Make up: Imagine Three Studios Invitations: Gourmet Invitations Linens: Luxe Event Linen Music: Double Trouble Video: Shane Tincu Films  Get more real wedding inspiration here: This Bride Spotted Her Future Groom’s Photo on Facebook and the Rest is History This Dolce and Gabbana Inspired Real Wedding is Anything But Basic This Real Wedding Story Actually Started Back in the Eighth Grade Got a tough wedding question?
